About Our Fishing Charter Boats
Boats ranging from 26' to 43' are inclusive of boat, crew, fuel, all fishing tackle, dispatch fees, ice and 16% taxes. Daily charter rates vary from $450 for a full day to as low as $385 for a 5 hour half day (see below). There are no hidden charges!

We offer charters on Yachts, and Custom Sportfishing Cruisers.

Cortez Yacht Charters has provided charters for multiple winners of the Bisbee Black & Blue Marlin Tournament reflecting the quality of the boats and Captains with whom we are associated. Our sportfishers with the Gaviota Fleet were the first west coast fleet to release 25+ billfish per boat in 1997 and have received multiple recognitions from The Billfish Foundation. We ALWAYS encourage the catch and release of marlin and sailfish.

One of the benefits of Cabo fishing is the close proximity to many of the hot spots - the San Jamie, Golden Gate and Gordo Banks, the 95 Spot, the 1150 Spot, Herradura, Migrino, Palmilla, Santa Maria Canyon and Cabo Falso are all easily reached and fished on the standard 8 hour charter. We also offer extended day charters (10-12 hours) on select boats to reach some of the seasonal SUPER HOTSPOTS - the Finger Bank, Iman Bank, or the Cabrillo Seamount.

New Cabo Service available with the Gaviota & Fish Cabo Fleets is the vacuum packaging of fish, either fresh or smoked at a nominal fee.

Sportfishers and Pangas Fishing Charters

All sportfishers & pangas are inclusive of boat, crew, fuel, all fishing tackle, dispatch fees, ice and 16% taxes. Crew gratuities are not included. Mexican fishing licenses are issued at boarding time at prevailing rates (currently $18). Live bait is $3.00 per bait when available and paid directly to the bait vendor. Cruisers typically fish 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
